Important notice

Dear Valued Stakeholders,

We wish to inform you that a colleague attached to our Moratuwa – Area Development Office (ADO) has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The colleague in question has been admitted to hospital and is receiving treatment and remains under observation. 

At AIA, the health and well-being of our Customers, Wealth Planners, Employees and the wider Community is of utmost priority to us.  This is more so than ever during these unprecedented times of a pandemic.

We informed the relevant authorities as soon as we were made aware about the colleague attached to this particular office tested positive and we continue to be in contact with them for further direction. We have taken all measures to mitigate the impact of the virus while adhering to all regulations and guidelines directed by the authorities.  In line with our COVID-19 health and safety procedures, we have immediately closed our Moratuwa ADO until further notice, while our other offices located in Moratuwa and other unaffected areas are open for business.

We are in the process of carrying out thorough disinfection of the facility with direction from the local PHI and assisting the authorities with contact tracing of individuals who have been in close contact with the affected colleague.

Our offices including the Moratuwa-ADO is equipped to work remotely.  Hence our customers of Moratuwa ADO are assured of our continued service digitally and over the phone. We are also fully geared to attend to all our Customers and Wealth Planners’ requirements remotely where required.

We are extending our fullest support to the affected colleague and family and wish them a quick recovery.
